Spirit seized

PALAKKAD, APRIL 23. The Excise Department seized 3,000 litres of spirit, smuggled through the Walayar check-post, today.

The spirit was brought to the State from Tamil Nadu in 86 cans hidden in a lorry loaded with fire wood.
