DPA formed without principles: CM
By Our Staff Reporter
KARAIKUDI,
APRIL 23.
The Democratic Progress Alliance is an opportunistic front and it is not formed on the basis of any principle, the Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, said today.
Unveiling a portrait of the slain DMK leader and former Minister, Tha. Krittunan at Muthanernthal, near his native village Kombukaranenthal, she said though DMK Ministers and its allies were the partners of the National Democratic Alliance, they did nothing for the development of the State. Instead they put hurdles to all proposals made by the State Government. As promised during the Assembly elections, the AIADMK Government started implementing various welfare and development schemes. To implement pending projects, she appealed to the electorate to cast their votes in favour of All-India Anna Democratic Munnetra Kazhagam - Bharaitya Janata Party combine.
The Chief Minister said she was happy to unveil the portrait of a leader who dedicated his entire life for the people.
