Workshop for students

Thiruvananthapuram, April 23. Mediact, a media education organisation, in association with the Rotary Club of Trivandrum Suburban and the Centre for Development of Imaging Technology, will organise a workshop on Digital Video Production for high school students from May 4 to 7. The workshop will deal with script development, basics of digital camera, digital editing and elements of direction. Cultural meeting

The Bible Society of India, in connection with its bi-centenary celebrations, will organise a cultural meet, `Bible Kalamela', on May 15 at the St. Peter's Simhasana Church, Punnen Road, here. Workshop on TV anchoring

The Mother Teresa Institute of Communication and Electronic Journalism will organise a one-day workshop on anchoring for television, for Plus Two students on April 30 at the Lourde Matha auditorium. New office building

The office of the Thiruvananthapuram chapter of the Indian Society For Training and Development will start functioning in a new office building from Sunday, a press note issued here today said. The new office building is located in the training house on the Pattom-Thekkummoodu Road. The ffice would be inaugurated by the Chief Secretary, N. Chandrasekharan Nair, the press note said.
