Vikram meets Sohan in final

MUMBAI, APRIL 24 . Third-seeded Vikram Reddy (AP) defeated the seventh seed Himanshu Mali (Mah) 6-4, 6-2 in Saturday's semifinal to set up a title clash with fifth-seeded Sohan Dalbajan (Mah) in the boys' under-14 section of the Dewan Housing Finance-sponsored R.K. Wadhavan junior tennis tournament at the Khar Gymkhana. Dalbhajan beat fourth-seed Gaurav Walia 6-3, 6-0. The girls' U-14 final will be played between the top seed Supriya Mallya (Mah) and the second seed Prachi Nadkarni (Mah).

Boys: U-14: 3-Vikram Reddy (AP) bt 7-Himanshu Mali (Mah) 6-4, 6-2; 5-Sohan Dalbajan (Mah) bt 4-Gaurav Walia (Mah) 6-3, 6-0.

Girls: U-14: 1-Supriya Mallya (Mah) bt 3-Unnati Parshotham (AP) 6-4, 6-3; 2-Prachi Nadkarni (Mah) bt Soniyaa Dayal (Mah) 1-6, 6-0, 6-3.
