24-year-old man murdered

By Our Staff Reporter

BANGALORE, APRIL 24. A 24-year-old man was murdered by an armed group in Magadi Road police station limits on Friday night.

The police said Suresh was stabbed in the chest with a knife and hit on the head with an iron rod allegedly by his friend, Raghavendra, and others. The murder took place around 9.30 p.m. near Suresh's house on 10th Main, 6th Block, Rajajinagar.

According to the police, Raghavendra was in love with a girl. As the girl's maternal uncle, Mahesh, wanted to marry her, he requested Suresh to advise Raghavendra to keep away from her.

On Friday night, Suresh met Raghavendra and conveyed Mahesh's request to him. This led to a heated argument between them. Raghavendra, who left the place, returned a few minutes later along with Venkatesh, Sendil, and others. They allegedly attacked Suresh and killed him, the police said. The Magadi Road police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the accused
