This Day That Age
Neither Mr. Nehru nor any other Asian Prime Minister will be addressing any public meetings in Ceylon when they come here on April 27 for the momentous Asian Prime Ministers' Conference. This step, it was officially explained on April 25, had to be taken as a security measure. The meeting at Independence Square in Colombofixed for April 30 which all Asian Prime Ministers were to address has been called off and, instead, there will be a reception on a restricted scale at the Colombo Town Hall on April 30 by Buddhist organisations.
