MADURAI, APRIL 25. Following the leak of question papers in the last few days, the Madurai Kamaraj University today cancelled and rescheduled some of the examinations for the BBA, B. Com., BCA, B. Sc. (IT), B. Sc. (Computer Science), B. Sc. (Ancillary Mathematics) courses. The examinations, originally scheduled for April 26, 27 and 28, will now be held on May 5, 6 and 7, the Controller of Examinations (in-charge), K.S. Gopalakrishnan, has said. "Fresh question papers will be prepared in the place of the ones seized at Periyakulam and the university is taking all precautionary measures," the Syndicate members said. The examinations re-scheduled for May 5 are: B. Com. - MS Office (subject code E33) and Advanced Partnership Accounting (E34); BBA - Company Organisation (C23), Principles of Management (D23) and Business Economics (D13); B. Sc. (IT&CS) - Programming with C++ and Data Structure (H2B), Programming in C (H1B), Programming in C (M1B), Programming in C (MB1) and Computer Organisation (ME2); BCA - Discrete Mathematics (B11). The examinations that will take place on May 6 instead of April 27 are: B. Com.: Managerial Economics (D11) and Economic Development of India (D12); BBA: Cost Accounting-old (C24), Cost Accounting - revised (D24) and Financial Accounting (D14); B. Sc. Computer Science: Fundamentals of Data Structures (MF2), Electronics and Digital Principles (M1C) and Digital Electronics (MC1); B. Sc. Ancillary papers: Mathematics II-2000 or earlier (AM2), Mathematics II-2001and after (AMB) and Mathematics I-2001 and after (AMA). The examinations that are rescheduled for May 7 instead of April 28 are: B. Com.: Theory and Practice of Business Organisation (D21) and Introduction to Information Technology (D22); BBA: Environment of Business (D15), Money and Banking (C15), Personality Development (D25) and Banking Law and Practice (C25); B. Sc.-Ancillary papers: Mathematics III-2001 and after (AMC), Mathematics IV-2001and after (AMD) and MathematicsIV-2000 or earlier (AM4). All the other under graduate examinations scheduled for April 26, 27 and 28 will be held as per the original timetable and schedule, a release said.
