People dissatisfied with AIADMK regime: PMK
By Our Staff Reporter
VELLORE,
APRIL 25.
The Pattali Makkal Katchi leader, S. Ramadoss, has claimed that a ``wave of anger against the All-India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam regime'' was visible in the Lok Sabha constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, which he has visited so far.
Talking to newspersons here today, Dr.Ramadoss said such a wave against the ruling establishment was visible for the first time after the 1967 general elections. People from all walks of life were dissatisfied with the ruling party, and were eager to teach a lesson to the government and the ruling party, he claimed.
This trend was echoed in the huge and spontaneous crowds, which gathered for election meetings addressed by leaders of the Democratic Progressive Alliance. The PMK leader said the AIADMK and its general secretary, Jayalalithaa, ``had stooped to a low level'' in their campaign only because they knew too well that the people were not prepared to vote for the alliance.
