Workshop on asthma among children

KOCHI, APRIL 25. A one-day workshop on `Asthma in children' was conducted by the Kochi branch and respiratory chapter of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP) at the Hotel International here today.

The national president of IAP, M.K.C. Nair, inaugurated the workshop and the Head of the Department of Paediatrics, Medical College, Kottayam, T.U. Sukumaran, and the associate professor, Department of Paediatrics, Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, Santhosh Kumar, led the workshop.

Doubts about aerosol therapy were discussed during the interactive session with parents of asthmatic children.

About 80 paediatricians from various parts of the State participated in the workshop.
