Adhiban shocks Abhay

DHARMAPURI, APRIL 27. B. Adhiban and L. Sudharshana shocked T. Abhay and R. Preethi, the top seeds in the boys' and girl's sections respectively, in the third round of the Jayam College of Engineering & Technology-sponsored Tamil Nadu State under-15 chess championship here on Tuesday.

Boys: T. Abhay (2) lost to B. Adhiban (3), K. Narayanan (2.5) drew with T.R. Shanmuganathan (2.5), S.P. Sethuraman (2) lost to S.A. Kannan (3), K.V. Ven Prakash (2.5) drew with Arun Karthik (2.5), S. Sri Prasanth (2.5) drew with D.R.K. Aditya (2.5), C.S. Rajesh (2) lost to Saravana Krishnan (3), R. Premnath (3) bt R. Ganesh Kumar (2).

Girls: R. Preethi (2) lost to L. Sudharshana (2), Pon. N. Krithikha (2) lost to N. Raghavi (2), P. Siva Sankari (2) drew with H. Sowmya (2), R. Sharanya (2) lost to P.K. Jayashree (2), R.K.
