Ittiam earns Rs. 4.74 cr. profit

BANGALORE,
APRIL 27.
Ittiam Systems, a city-based digital signal processing products start-up, said it ended the last financial year with audited revenues of Rs. 21.98 crore and a net profit of Rs. 4.74 crore. The three-year-old company had a "licensee base of more than 40 customers worldwide, including Fortune 100 semiconductor companies and original equipment manufacturers," a release said here on Thursday.
Srini Rajam, Ittiam's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said: "Ittiam has been profitable since April 2003. Now we are well positioned in the fast growing market segments such as digital A-V, wireless LAN and VoIP. Products embedded with Ittiam technology have already hit the markets around the world."
Ittiam's media player, recorder and server reference designs were showcased in the Consumer Electronics Show 2004, Las Vegas, U.S.
