Temperature

TIRUCHI, APRIL 27. The city today registered a maximum temperature of 38.0 degree Celsius and a minimum of 28.2 degree Celsius.

Enquiry counter

The Airports Authority of India has established an enquiry counter at the Tiruchi Airport.

The counter would provide information on flight arrivals and departure, passenger movement and other facilities available at the airport. Passengers and the public could contact the counter for information round the clock over the telephone number 2340554, according to a press release from the Airport Director, S. Sreekumar.

Course

The Natesan Cooperative Management Training Institute, affiliated to the National Cooperative Training Committee, Government of India, will offer a Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management. Graduates below the age of 30 are eligible for this 36-week course (two semesters).

The candidates will be selected through an entrance examination. Application forms can be collected from the Principal, Natesan Cooperative Management Training Institute, Anna Nagar, Chennai-40. The last date for submission of the filled-in applications is June 14.

Mettur level

The level in the Mettur dam stood at 26.00 feet today. The inflow was 606 cusecs, and the discharge 143 cusecs.
