NEW DELHI, APRIL 27. Two persons, one of whom ran a tutorial institute for the National Open School (NOS), were arrested by the New Delhi police on Monday, on charges of selling fake Central Board of Secondary Education marksheets and NOS certificates. Acting on a tip-off that a man had been selling NOS certificates, the police sent a decoy to strike a deal near Odean cinema at Connaught Place. After the deal was struck, the police arrested the accused, later identified as Suresh, from whom a three-page mark NOS marksheet was recovered. At his instance, the police mounted another raid at Vikaspuri in West Delhi and arrested his accomplice, Ravi Rohilla, who ran a tutorial institute. The police recovered a computer, a printer, a scanner and fake stamps of various NOS department, which were being used to forge the mark sheets.
