IBM Rational ties up with HCL Tech

NEW DELHI: HCL Technologies has entered into a strategic tie-up with IBM Rational Software, a division of IBM, to strengthen its software development capabilities. As part of the agreement, IBM will set up a Rational competency centre for HCL Technologies at its Gurgaon facility to assist the company's software development team to adapt and absorb future enhancements in Rational technologies, an IBM release said here.

"Investment in Rational Tools is one of the strategic initiatives with IBM India under our `Tool and Assess' programme at HCL Technologies. It is a win-win situation for both organisations," Rajiv Sodhi, Vice President and Head, Advance Technology Centre, HCL Technologies, said.
