TIRUPATI, APRIL 28. One of the two persons, pretending to be job consultants, who collected money from unemployed youths promising them jobs was arrested by the Muthyalareddypalle police here on Wednesday. Srinivas of Nellore and Gabriel of Visakhapatnam landed here this morning in the garb of consultants to hold interviews to pick up suitable candidates for call centre jobs. Rayapu Rameshbabu, a doctor who runs an NGO in the town and said to be a relative of Gabriel, got a room booked at the Youth Hostel here for this purpose. No sooner did the interview commence, the youths who attended were asked to pay money towards `consultancy fee', which varied between persons, giving rise to suspicion. In addition, the two possessed no identity cards, spelt out different names for the consultancy firm they represented .
