BIDAR, APRIL 28. The Regional Manager of Syndicate Bank, D. Shivakumar, has clarified that the bank has achieved a turnover of Rs. 64,000 crore for the financial year 2003-04 while projecting a target turnover of Rs. 85,000 crore for the next financial year. Inaugurating the new premises of the bank's main branch in Bidar on Monday, he said that the bank, which was in the seventh place in the country's banking sector, was hoping to move up two notches to occupy the fifth position in the coming financial year.
