NEW DELHI, APRIL 28 . The Election Commission today ordered repolling in 498 polling stations in Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and Uttar Pradesh tomorrow. Repolling will take place in 417 polling booths in Bihar, 59 in Jharkhand and 22 in Orissa. On the demand for repolling in the Chapra and Siwan constituencies in Bihar and Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh, the Commission said it had sought fresh reports from the Returning Officers of these constituencies and the Chief Electoral officers. Any decision on repolling or countermanding of the elections would depend on the reports. The BJP has demanded repolling in the entire constituency of Chapra and Ghazipur. The Civil Aviation Minister, Rajiv Pratap Rudy (BJP), who contested against the RJD leader, Laloo Prasad Yadav, met the Commission today in this regard.
