Two held

THENI, APRIL.28. The CID police (Commercial Crime Investigation wing) today arrested Palaniandi, former president, and Subramaniam, clerk of Annai Muthumariamman Weavers Cooperative Society at Jakkampatti in Andipatti taluk on charges of financial irregularities in purchasing packing materials and yarn.

They were produced before the Madurai Judicial Magistrate court No.3 which remanded them in custody.

Later, they were lodged in the Madurai Central Prison.
