BSNL revises tariff

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, APRIL 28. The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has made tariff changes for calls made from BSNL landlines to CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) lines of Tata Tele Services Limited (TTSL) and Reliance Infocom Limited (RIL) by fixing a pulse rate of 60 seconds for calls made to 56 level of TTSL and 31 to 38 levels of RIL.

The 60-second pulsing includes local calls originating from exchanges having the same STD code of district headquarters (except for Krishna, East Godavari and Chittoor districts, for which the Vijayawada, Rajahmundry and Tirupati have the facility). There will be no change in tariff for calls from BSNL fixed line subscribers to RIL and TTSL fixed lines (55 of TTSL and 30 and 39 levels of RIL).

For local calls originating from other exchanges, the pulse rate will be 30 seconds. It will be 30-second pulse for intra-circle STD calls (calls with different STD codes of Andhra Pradesh Circle other than originating exchange STD code), originating from any exchange in the circle.
