`Tulu Natakotsava' from Sunday

MANGALORE, APRIL 29. Sri Ganesh Nataka Sabha has organised a three-day "Tulu Natakotsava" as part of its 45th annual celebrations in association with the Department of Culture, Government of India, at the Town Hall here from Sunday.

While "Yerenla Nambodchi" will be staged on Sunday, "Tammale Arvathana Kola" will be staged on Monday, and "Mange Malpodchi" on June 20.

T.A. Srinivas, president of the Reception Committee, told presspersons here on Thursday that K.N. Taylor, artiste and founder-president of the sabha, Rohidas Kadri, Sundar Hegde, T. Seetharam Shetty, Felix Saldanha, Sharat Kumar, Srinivas Kadri, Tulsidas Urva, Chandrahas Serigar, Ganesh Kumar, Jayasheela, and Nayana would act in the dramas.

While Mr. Taylor had written the story and the dialogues and directed the plays, Raj Electronics would be in-charge of acoustics.

Mr. Srinivas said Mr. Taylor had acted in 12 Kannada plays, written and acted in 16 Tulu dramas, and acted, directed, and produced nine Tulu movies.
