PONDICHERRY, APRIL 29. R. Viswanathan, Communist Party of India (CPI) national council member, today denied the allegation of the Bharatiya Janata Party legislator, A. M. Krishnamoorthy, that the CPI had `encroached` on the common pathway to start the party office at Sithankudil here. Mr. Viswanathan told presspersons here that site was donated by an active member of the party and the office building had been constructed on it. There was no encroachment or obstruction to the road as alleged by A. M. Krishnamoorthy, he said. Mr. Viswanathan said the JIPMER hospital here is facing various shortages and patients coming to the hospital were disappointed as there was a perceptible fall in care. Shortage of medicines is necessitating the patients to purchase them outside.
