PONDICHERRY, APRIL 29. The Pondicherry unit of the Rajnikant Rasigar Mandram today took out a `rath yatra` through important villages at and around Villianoor today appealing to voters to support Lalitha Kumaramangam, the Bharatiya Janata Party nominee for the Pondicherry constituency. The mandram president, Rajni Sankar, led the campaign. The Pondicherry BJP legislator, A. M. Krishnamoorthy, and Ms. Lalitha Kumaramangam appealed to rural voters to support the BJP. The `rath yatra` would cover all the Assembly segments during the eight-day mobile propaganda till May 6.
