Karthikeyan in sole lead

DHARMAPURI, APRIL 29. P. Karthikeyan of Chennai, with seven points, emerged sole leader in the boys' section at the seventh round of the Jayam College of Engineering and Technology sponsored Tamil Nadu State under-15 chess championship at the College premises here on Thursday.

Boys: P. Karthikeyan 7 bt S. Kannan 5; R. Arun Karthik 6 bt S. Nitin 5; Shyam Nikil 5 lost to P. Saravana Krishnan 6; B. Adhiban 4.5 lost to K. Priyadharshan 5.5; R. Premnath 4.5 lost to Dyal Ravi K. Aditya 5.5; K.C. Krishnaprasad 4.5 lost to M.M. Anandh Raj 5.5.
