Artillery Centre routs Income Tax

HYDERABAD, APRIL 29. Artillery Centre blanked Income Tax Recreation Club 7-0 in the A-1 division hockey league match at the Begumpet Police Stadium here on Thursday. The winner led 3-0 at the break.

Artillery took the lead in the eighth minute through a fine solo effort by Osman Bin Abdullah who also netted the second goal in the 20th minute. Just before the break, P. Lakra scored the third goal.

On resumption, the Armymen sustained pressure and the wily Osman scored with yet another fine solo effort. Captain Sunil Sawant struck in the 34th and 53rd minutes and Hardeep Ekka struck once to complete the tally.
