KOTTAYAM, APRIL 30. The World Workers' Day will be celebrated at Pamapdy on Saturday. The CPI (M) politburo member, Prakash Karat, will be the chief guest. The day will begin with flag hoisting. This will be followed by a colourful May Day parade in which panchavadyam, mayilattom, roller skating, parichamuttu kali, singari melam and floats will be presented. The rally will culminate in a public meeting, which would be addressed by Mr. Karat. Cultural programmes have been scheduled after the public meeting.
