Siraj's demand

Thiruvananthapuram April 30. The expelled People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and the City Corporation Councillor, Poonthura Siraj, has appealed to the cultural and human rights activists to work for the release of the PDP chairman, Abdul Nasser Maudhany.

Mr. Siraj told reporters here today the social, cultural and human rights activists, who came out with statements on various issues, had not extended support for Mr. Maudhany over the past six years.
