TIRUCHI, APRIL 30 . A two-foot baby crocodile gave some anxious moments to residents of Nawab Thottam at Woraiyur in the city today. The three-month old crocodile caught the attention of the public as it was meandering in the area, official sources said, adding that the reptile was set free owing to absence of water bodies, but could not determine how it might have landed in the area. A forest department official said the reptile was released into the crocodile farm at Kilikoondu near Kallanai, later in the day.
