MUMBAI, MAY 1. Bajaj Auto has clocked a 19 per cent growth in two wheeler sales in April at 1.05 lakh units against 88,749 units in April 2003. It recorded a 22 per cent rise in two and three wheeler sales at 1.21 lakhs for April against 99,430 units in the same period last year, the company said in a release here today. The company sold 90,532 motorcycles during the month, a 27 per cent growth over April 2003. Exports recorded a 60 per cent jump at 16,838 units against 10,527 in April last year, the release added. The company said in the premium segment, the Pulsar twins recorded a sale of 23,511 units in the same month against 15,771 units last year. Three wheelers showed a 51 per cent growth at 16,152 units in April against 10,681 units in April last year.
