COIMBATORE, MAY 1. The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA) Foreign Language Learning Centre will be inaugurated here on May 6. The president of CODISSIA, Tee. Narayanaswami, said the centre would be a part of the international marketing infrastructure component of the pump, motor, foundries and allied industries cluster programme. Courses would be offered in Russian, Business French, Japanese and Business Hindi. Basic and business language courses would be also conducted for all the identified language. Each batch for these programmes would have 20 students and the duration varied for each language. These courses would offer opportunities for the learners as translators and interpreters as a large number of foreign buyers. A course in German would also be started shortly.
