PONDICHERRY, MAY 1. The Centre for Consumer Education (CCE) here has released a list of dos and don'ts for those contesting the Lok Sabha poll. The general secretary, K. Rajaraman, said in a release today that the 14-point charter included steps to provide reservation for women and ensuring rights of farmers. The candidate, after he got elected, should not participate in any function organised by caste-friendly outfits. Except during the Parliamentary session, he should hold meetings in the constituency for two days a week to discuss the problems of the people. He should air his opposition to globalisation and privatisation and strive to protect the environment and rights of consumers, the charter said.
