NEW DELHI, MAY 1. The Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress has prepared an action plan for all seven Lok Sabha seats from the Capital with its cadres fanning out in various parts from May 3 to 8. The youth workers have been directed to hold meetings with the contesting candidates and formulate a strategy for the polling day on May 10. Giving this information here, the Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress president, Rajesh Lilothia, said all the block presidents along with the teams would hold strategy sessions with the contesting candidates and election in-charge to formulate the election strategy during the entire week. On polling day, these workers would fan out in the respective areas and mobilise voters and take positions at the polling stations to thwart any attempts by the opposition to indulge in any kind of mischief. He said all the 140 blocks would hold six corner meetings and five padyatras each. On May 7 and 8, the youth workers would distribute voter's slips. Mr.Lilothia said that several raths had been prepared by the organisation and these would be flagged off on May 3 for touring various constituencies in order to expose the false propaganda being spread by the NDA Government to mislead the workers. These raths would also be utilised by the party workers to distribute the election material of the contesting candidates and spread the message of harmony and secularism. He urged the people of Delhi to come out in large number on May 10 and vote to oust the communal BJP. Mr. Lilothia said the next one week would be crucial and expressed confidence that the BJP would be completely wiped out not only in Delhi but also in the entire country. "The people are no longer being taken in by the mischievous propaganda of the Sangh Parivar and they would give a befitting reply to such forces in the coming polls. The opinion and exit polls have already indicated that the BJP was on its way out and the Congress was making a comeback. This was a clear indication that people had realised the folly of having voted for BJP and now want a secular Government to come in power at the Centre,'' he added.
