Easy for YSBC

VIRUDHUNAGAR, MAY 1. Young Stars Basketball Club (Batlagundu) posted an easy 57-33 victory over Emerald Basketball Club (Sivakasi) in the inaugural match of the second annual Hatsun Agro Product Ltd. trophy State-level basketball tournament here on Saturday.

In another match, Youngsters BC (Tuticorin) beat Walkers BC (Virduhunagar) 55-41.

The results:

YSBC (Batlagundu) 57 (Siva Sampath 25, Kasirajan 10) bt Emerald BC (Sivakasi) 33 (Yogesh 12).

Youngsters BC (Tuticorin) 55 (Senthil Rajan 13, Antony 10) bt Walkers BC (Virudhunagar) 41 (Sukumar 12, Vetri 11).
