Railway Officers XI in final

HYDERABAD, MAY 1. Railway Officers XI and Gati XI will fight it out for the title in the TVS "Centra" Corporate Cup cricket tournament at the Railway cricket stadium on Sunday.

In the semifinals played today Railway Officers XI defeated HDFC Bank by four wickets, while Gati XI defeated Infosys XI by eight wickets in the match which was played at the Waterworks ground.

Man of the Match was Laxman the skipper of Gati XI whose haul of four wickets for 20 runs virtually decided the course of the match.

The scores (semifinals): Infosys XI 105 (Jagdish 36, Laxman four for 20) lost to Gati XI 106 for two.

HDFC 111 for nine (Ghafoor 34, Vishwajeet 35, Ghulam four for nine) lost to Railway Officers XI 112 for six.
