The Hindu-Eenadu wins thriller

KARIMNAGAR, MAY 1. The Hindu-Eenadu recorded a last-ball win over Indu Cricket Club of Karimnagar in the Paramita Invitation cricket tournament, which began at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium here on Saturday.

Indu Club scored 144 for five in 20 overs with Akhtar (45 not out) the top-scorer. The Hindu-Eenadu coasted home off the last ball following Thakur's 38.

The scores:

Indu CC, Karimnagar 96 for nine lost to Shivaji Cricket Club 97 for eight (Sukumar four for 22).

Indu CC, Karimnagar 144 for five in 20 overs (Akhtar 45 not out; Ravi three for 29) lost to The Hindu-Eenadu 145 for four in 20 overs (Thakur 38).
