KOCHI, MAY 1. The Congress leader and former Union Minister, Margaret Alva, has said that the Left parties will support the Congress after the elections. Talking to a group of reporters at the Cochin International Airport, Nedumbassery on Saturday, Ms. Alva ruled out the possibility of the formation of a Third Front at the centre after the elections. She said that there would be only two fronts which matter after the elections, namely the BJP-led NDA and the parties led by the Congress. Ms. Alva who arrived in Kochi to take part in the election campaign, addressed a meeting held as part of the election campaign of the UDF candidate, Jose K. Mani, at Koothattukulam. She will inaugurate the campaign meeting of the UDF candidate for Ernakulam, Edward Edezhath, at Vaduthala Boat Jetty on Sunday morning.
