Fresh batch at NCA

BANGALORE, MAY 1. A fresh batch of under-15 players joined the National Cricket Academy here on Saturday. However, the training session's formal launch will be held here on Sunday. NCA Chairman Sunil Gavaskar, BCCI Secretary S.K. Nair and the Indian team vice-captain Rahul Dravid will grace the inaugural function. The selected players will be coached at the NCA till May 30.

The trainees: First batch: Ajitesh Argal (Baroda), A. Ahmed (Assam), Pritam Das (Assam), Shiva Kumar (AP), Prateek Kadam (Mumbai), Kamruddin Rehman (Maharashtra), Anuj Vakil (Mumbai), Amol Jugaude (Vidharba), Bharat Malhotra (Punjab), Prashant Gupta (DDCA), Aditya Sagar (Karnataka), Alok Sahu (Orissa), N. Pawaskar (Goa), Rehmani Sufiyan (Mumbai), Kushal Jilla (Hyderabad), Mohammed Ahmed (Rajasthan), Swapnil Singh (Baroda), S. Purkayastha (Assam), Nikhil Patel (Mumbai), Rahul Yadav (DDCA) and Rohan Banerjee (CAB).

Gautham (Bihar), Saurab Kashyap (UP), Chandan Paul (CAB), K.P. Apanna (Karnataka), Manan Sharma (DDCA), Vikram Bhosle (Maharashtra), P.E.V.K. Reddy (AP), P.
