VIJAYAWADA, MAY 1. The Krishna District Milk Producers' Mutually Aided Co-op Union Ltd. has decided to increase the prices of two brands of Vijaya milk by 50 paise with effect from May 10. Accordingly, the price of the 500 ml sachet of Vijaya Special (mixed milk), with a fat content of 6 per cent and SNF content of 8.5 per cent, will go up from the existing Rs.8.50 to Rs.9 while the price of the 500 ml sachet of another variety, Vijaya Gold, with 7 per cent fat content and 9 per cent SNF, will be increased to Rs.10 as against the present Rs.9.50. The prices of other varieties of Vijaya brand milk will remain unchanged, according to a press release.
