Car burnt in freak accident

CHENNAI, MAY 1. In a freak accident this evening, a car was burnt and another one partially, when a short-circuit in one of the vehicle's battery led to a fire.

The four-wheelers were parked inside an apartment complex in Srinagar Colony, Little Mount.

Fire service personnel, who arrived at the spot, prevented the blaze from engulfing other vehicles parked nearby.
