HYDERABAD, MAY 1. The Doordarshan Kendra, Hyderabad, is telecasting a special programme `Jnana Deepthi' from 7.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 4 on the occasion of Vaisakha Poornima thidhi over its `Saptagiri' channel. A release said that Vaisakha Poorima was auspicious for the Buddhists and was connected with three important events in the life of Buddha, the birth, enlightenment and nirvana. The programme `Jnana Deepthi' would focus on life story, birth, important events that lead to search of enlightenment in the life of Budha. It would also highlight the teachings of Budha and essence of Buddhism.
