Berths available in summer special

HYDERABAD, MAY.1. There are 186 sleeper class and 29 two tier AC berths in the summer special train from Secunderabad to Tirupati (Train No.742) departing Secunderabad at 7 p.m. on Monay (May 3). The travellers have been requested to avail the facility, a press release said.

Shortfall in water supply

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has notified that there will be a shortfall in drinking water supply from May 3 to 5 in the areas where the Krishna water was being supplied to fix valves and safety devices in the system. Water to these areas will be supplied from other existing sources to avoid inconvenience to the customers, a press release said.

PP calls withdrawn

Particular Person (PP) calls have been withdrawn from Trunk services with effect from May 1. According to a press release issued by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd assistant general manager, G. Venkateswarlu, here on Friday, the decision to withdraw PP calls from trunk services was taken at the BSNL Corporate office in New Delhi.
