HYDERABAD, MAY 1. Indian Railways, in association with the India Government Mint, Kolkata, has released a Rs. 100 coin and a Rs. 2 coin, in connection with the ongoing 150 years celebrations of Railways. The commemorative coin sets, which cost Rs. 850 per set for proof coin sets and Rs. 450 per set for uncirculated coin sets, can be had by sending application forms filled in along with full advance remittance including postal, packing, insurance charges as well as Sale Tax (provisional) payable through demand drafts drawn on the Kolkata branch of any nationalised bank in favour of `Reserve Bank Of India - A/C India Government Mint, Kolkata' on or before May 31. The name and address of the applicant should be mentioned on the backside of the demand draft enclosed with order form. Orders can be placed directly by foreign nationals against advance payment in US dollars. Separate order forms are available at the IG Mint at Alipore in Kolkata. The coin sets will be delivered within 18 months after closing of booking on May 31. The order form along with necessary details are available on the mint's website www.igmint.org.
