CHENNAI, MAY 1. A two-day education guidance exhibition `Career Expo - 2004' opened at Chennai Trade Centre at Nandambakkam today. Twentyfive institutions, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in different fields, including engineering and medicine, are participating, said S. Theagarajan, president, Professional Career Consultant, the event organiser. The list of institutions includes two medical and an equal number of dental colleges, two deemed universities, three polytechnics and 16 engineering colleges. Barring two, all institutions are located in and around Chennai, he said. The exhibition, entry to which is free, sought to create awareness among the parents and students of the courses available, including those in the field of bio-informatics, bio-medical engineering and bio-technology.
