One-way rule catches motorists off guard

By Our Staff Reporter

BANGALORE, MAY 1. The new one-way system on Kempe Gowda Road and Palace Road caught many people off guard on Saturday.

They had a tough time in coming to terms with the new regulations.

The Kempe Gowda Road where entry of vehicles has been banned from Mysore Bank Circle to Police Corner and the extension of the one-way system on Palace Road from Maharani College Circle to K.R. Circle, took people by surprise.

Though the police had made an announcement about this in the media a couple of days ago, hundreds of vehicle riders had to be guided by the police.

Since Saturday and Sunday are government holidays, the full impact of the new one-way system was not felt.
