Tiger at rescue centre dies

VISAKHAPATNAM, MAY 2. A 15-year-old male tiger, Bharat, died at the Animal Rescue Centre in the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park here on Sunday. Liver cancer was diagnosed as the cause of the death during the post-mortem conducted on the animal. Bharat was brought to the rescue centre from the Famous Circus of Kolkata in June, 2002.
