Pankajakasturi posts win

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MAY 2. Pankajakasturi defeated Crazy CC by 37 runs in the Thiruvananthapuram district `B' division cricket league at the Medical College ground here on Sunday.

Naveen Vinod (107) and Ranjith Pavithran (104) struck centuries as Pankajakasturi piled up 323 for six in its allotted 45 overs. Crazy CC made a brave attempt to chase the target as Devan (90) and Anil G. Mohan (60) kept their side in the hunt. But their dismissals brought a quick end to the match as Crazy was dismissed for 286 in the 44th over.

The scores: Pankajakasturi 323 for six in 45 overs (Naveen Vinod 107, Ranjith Pavithran 104, Ajeesh Chandran 61, Suresh three for 42) bt Crazy CC 286 in 43.2 overs (Devan 90, Anil G. Mohan 60, Rahul four for 67).
