Whistleblowers

Sir, — There is need for a comprehensive legislation to protect whistleblowers covering the Government and the private sector. This should be a priority of the new government.

Sir, — There is need for a law to protect whistleblowers. But whether the authorities will act against powerful persons after the malpractices are brought to their attention is a moot question.
