Ban on smoking

Sir, — The Railways decision to ban smoking on trains and railway premises is welcome. But it has been seen that as soon as a law is enacted, it is enforced strictly. But after some time, there is laxity and things are back to square one. This should not happen.

Sir, — The move is a great boon for passengers. It will be a complete success only if the authorities enforce the ban strictly.
