Sree Harika and Srikanth win titles

VISAKHAPATNAM, MAY 4. V. Srikanth of the B.R.B.M. Degree College and Y. Sree Harika of SFS School won the first prizes in the boys and girls events respectively in the district under-20 rapid chess tournament held here on Sunday and Monday.

T. Krishna Chaitanya (GITAM College of Engineering) and T. Srikanth (Pollock's School) finished second and third in the boys section while M.V. Pankaj Lahari (Little Angles School) was second in the girls section.

Special prizes were awarded to G.N. Lohit (Bala Bhanu Vidya Bhavan) and M. Gomini (Timpany School) for being the youngest participants in the boys and girls sections respectively.

The tournament was conducted by the All Vizag District Chess Association.
