Shantanu in semifinals

NEW DELHI, MAY 4. Shantanu Rajput defeated Abhishek Phore 6-0, 6-2 in the quarterfinals of the boys' under-14 section in the Peninsula tennis tournament at the IIT Complex here on Tuesday.

The results (quarterfinals):

Boys under-14: Bharat Bhardwaj bt Sagar Kumar 6-0, 6-1; Kunal R. Barua bt Puneet Phore 6-1, 6-1; Shantanu Rajput bt Abhishek Phore 6-0, 6-2; Vijay Bhardwaj bt Madhav Windlass 6-0, 6-2.

Under-12: Siddharth Sharma bt Sanil Sachar 7-5; Pranay Kumar bt Ambar Bhartwal 7-1; Karan bt Tushar 7-3; Arjun Shastri bt Gautam Ahuja 7-5.
