SFL to open China unit

MUMBAI, MAY 4. Sundram Fastners's plant near Shanghai in South China for high tensile fasteners will become operational on May 21, the company's Chairman and Managing Director, Suresh Krishna, said today.

To grow internationally, Sundram Fasteners is setting up a factory in Haiyan Economic Development Zone, located about 100 km from Shanghai, Mr. Krishna said at the manufacturing summit organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) here.
